Health & Wellness

If you've never set foot in a gym before, or if you haven't used this kind of equipment, don't worry! Our qualified and friendly Health and Wellness Counsellors will guide you through your induction and excersise programme based on your own personal goals.

After your induction, our Health and Wellness Counsellors will be on hand to revamp your programme and give assistance when necessary.

The Health and Wellness Suite opens at 7.00am and closes at 9.00pm Monday-Friday, and 7.00am-7.00pm Saturday & Sunday.  Young people aged between 12 and 15 years can access the gym from 12 Noon to 6.00pm unaccompanied.  However, after 6.00pm they must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years who is eligible for the gym.  Please note that on Saturdays and sundays access for 12-15 years olds is only available from 9.00am-5.00pm, however during holiday periods, due to staff shortages, there may be limited or no access at the weekends.  We would strongly suggest that customers contact our Main Reception on Tel:  (01343) 550033 before making a journey to the Centre.

WEIGHTS:-

Please note that our Gym has free weights, however they only go up to 40 Kgs, which is great for strength training, but not quite enough for Body Building yet!

We have also incorporated a Smiths Machine into our Weights Room, which is proving very popular.

GYM CIRCUITS:-

We have introduced Gym Circuits with resistance machines which use no weights just your own resistance - it's a "must try"!
